MY NEIGHBOR GOJIRA

Miyazaki's beloved animated masterpiece "My Neighbor Totoro" meets Japan's baddest kaiju, Godzilla ("Gojira", to the Japanese). I've had this idea to mash together Totoro and Godzilla for some time now, and it just seemed like a perfect fit to also add a Mothra/Catbus into the illustration.
Digitally inked and colored in Photoshop.

ABOMINABLE SNOW MONSTER MASSACRE!!

Well, I'm getting behind on my blog and this post is late, which is especially bad given the Christmassy nature of this design, but I gotta share it anyway. This is another commission for horror t-shirt company FRIGHT-RAGS, and it's a more gory and twisted take on some of the characters from the stop-motion RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER Christmas special from Rankin-Bass.  Even though the season has passed, you can still get your shirt RIGHT HERE FROM FRIGHT-RAGS!

BIG ANGRY MONSTERS!

Recently got commissioned to create all the artwork for a pretty cool boardgame project in the works. It's called BIG ANGRY MONSTERS, and there will be a kickstarter campaign to raise money to get it produced. More on that when it's up an running. In the meanwhile, here's some of the artwork I've already created for it. This is the logo and a piece of artwork that I found out will apparently be used as the box cover. Working with digital inks and colors for the entirety of this project to save time and streamline the process. More to come...

PIXARMAGEDDON (REAL MONSTERS)

Another new design for favorite client FRIGHT-RAGS. This time they wanted a decidedly more sinister take on Mike and Sully from MONSTERS INC. and the brand new MONSTERS UNIVERSITY. I was tasked with creating more monstrous versions of the two, having chowed down on several other characters from Pixar films.

This one was drawn in pencil, but completely digitally inked and colored in Photoshop.
