CREEPSHOW: "THEY'RE CREEPING UP ON YOU!"

I can finally reveal one of my latest designs for horror shirt company extraordinaire, FRIGHT-RAGS! It's a design from one of my favorite fun horror movies, CREEPSHOW -- specifically, the "They're Creeping Up On You" segment that closes out the movie, wherein germophobe crank-meister extraordinaire Mr. Upson Pratt gets plagued by swarms of roaches and meets a grisly end . This one was particularly fun to work on, though drawing all those roaches got to be a bit grueling at times. AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE HERE!

SEA-MONKEY BATTLE!

I was recently commissioned by the folks at LESSCONF (the Less Is More Conference) to create a t-shirt/marketing design for them. Their only request was that it have some sort of oceanic/nautical theme, and for some reason my mind went immediately to Sea-Monkeys battling a crab. I guess I've always wanted to illustrate such a thing, so why not now? Brush and ink drawing colored in Photoshop.

THE BLOB tshirt design!

Another commission for one of my favorite clients, FRIGHT-RAGS. I was lucky enough to get to create a tshirt illustration for one of my favorite horror movie remakes, THE BLOB. Instead of trying to capture any of the celebrity likenesses or do some sort of montage of blobby scenes, I thought I'd stick to one powerful image of the Blob dissolving one of the poor slobs who was sent into the sewers after the shapeless beast.

HAUNTED HOUSE POSTERS

A bit late in posting this, but I was recently commissioned to create a pair of poster/banner illustrations for a Haunted Trail/Haunted House attraction down in Sarasota Florida. There were two separate attractions, "Twisted Terror" and "Quarantine". Both of them were very fun to work on, and were made into huge banners, and posters hung throughout the city.

ERNEST SCARED STUPID

Was recently commissioned by one of my favorite clients, FRIGHT-RAGS, to create a shirt design based on the "classic" Halloween movie ERNEST SCARED STUPID. Definitely not one of my favorite movies, but I do have a soft spot for ol' Ernest P. Worrell, so it was a lot of fun and I was pretty pleased with the results.

BLACK DAHLIA MURDER

Was recently commissioned by the guys in the metal band BLACK DAHLIA MURDER to create a t-shirt design for them. They wanted a fellow getting dunked in a vat of acid, so I had some fun with that!

GORILLA VS. SQUID inks!

Finally finished the inks for my GORILLA VS. SQUID design. Will be moving on to colors soon and getting this puppy ready for shirts and prints. More soon...

HALLOWEIRDOS 2012: "The Tuberous Squom"

I was once again invited to participate in this year's HALLOWEIRDOS blog over at WIDE AWAKE PRESS, and this is one of my contributions: "The Tuberous Squom"! This is a big forest-dwelling beastie called the TUBEROUS SQUOM. He’s a root-based creature who can pull himself out of the ground when he’s hungry and feels the distinct vibrations of wayward tasty children who have unwisely wandered too far into the woods!
