MMA SPOTLIGHT ON: ZOMBIE CAGE FIGHTER

A few months back, I completed another shirt design for UFC fighter Nate "Rock" Quarry's ZOMBIE CAGE FIGHTER brand. He wanted an old 70's horror comic feel -- specifically paying homage to MARVEL SPOTLIGHT #2 featuring WEREWOLF BY NIGHT. So, I turned the werewolf into a zombie and meticulously redrew the entire cover, even redoing the logo by hand. I had a lot of fun working on this one, especially since I didn't have to worry about layout or composition. It's up for sale at his site, so check it out and buy one, if you're so inclined. Pen, brush, & ink with Photoshop colors. 5-color design printed on maroon.
Uncolored inks.
Rough pencils.

I KNIFED A NOOB...

I was approached again recently by one of my favorite clients, J!NX, to do another shirt design. This one based on the Katy Perry song, "I Kissed A Girl (and I Liked It)", only turned on it's head to become the multiplayer gaming-based "I Knifed A Noob... And I Liked It".
They asked for a grim, sadistic-looking mercenary/soldier type, grinning maniacally, and holding a menacing, bloody knife.

The shirt is available for sale in men's and women's styles HERE.
