PAKKU-MAN for sale at the BEASTWRECK shop!

AVAILABLE FOR PREORDER AT THE BEASTWRECK SHOP!

This bright design is based on a recently discovered rare Japanese print which is rumored to have contributed to Toru Iwatani's inspiration for the genesis of Pac-Man! It was a commonly-held misconception that a simple pizza (missing a slice) was the true inspiration for the celebrated arcade classic, but that's clearly a bunch of bologna! It was a print that had been in his family for generations, but had been lost in a warehouse shortly after his tragic suicide.

8-color design screenprinted on black Tultex #0202. 1-color BeastWreck logo printed on back.

Weight: 4.50 oz. 100% Ring Spun Cotton 30/1's fine knit jersey. Tubular construction. Ribbed crew taped neck and shoulders with double needle sleeves and bottom hem. Tear-Away tag.

VOTE FOR BEASTPOP! ON QWERTEE!

Qwertee.com is a new shirt-a-day t-shirt company which seems to be the UK's version of TeeFury with a little dash of Threadless thrown in. Unlike TeeFury, Qwertee utilizes a member voting method to rate submitted designs. It looks like a great addition to the global t-shirt marketplace and community, and I've jumped aboard this train in anticipation of good things along the way.

BeastPop! has 3 designs up so far for voting, and it looks like the ubiquitous and enduring favorite ZOMBAMA will be the first of my designs printed by them. You can still vote for it anyway, if you like.
Also up for voting are the PAKKU-MAN Pac-Man/Samurai mashup design and the infamous SLAVE I RACER Boba Fett/Speed Racer mashup design. Vote for 'em both and we'll see how the cards play out. Even if you're in the US, vote for 'em anyway -- it'll get us one step closer to getting them printed over here.

ONCE YOU GO PAC, YOU NEVER GO BACK!

PAKKU-MAN t-shirt on black... y'know, just to see what it'd look like. Not too bad, huh?

New PAKKU-MAN colors!

My PAKKU-MAN design has been put up for voting over at J!NX.com and there have been a few complaints from some of the more sensitive folks about the brightness of the shirt colors (If it ain't black or very dark, it tends to not trend well with some of the gamer crowd -- c'mon folks, expand your horizons!), and I can see their point, I guess. I thought I'd modify the design a bit with 2 more shirt color options that are a bit less bright. So, here's how the design would look on either red or dark blue. Enjoy. Oh and GO VOTE FOR THE DESIGN HERE!

PAC-SAMURAI RETURNS! Now safe for screenprinting!

Hi, beasties! Been wanting to rejigger my old PAC-SAMURAI piece into a more polished and screenprinting-friendly design for a while now, and I finally made that happen.

Don't know whether I like it better on yellow or blue (or maybe both), so weigh in on your favorite. 6-color design.

For the link to the original PAC-SAMURAI illustration and blog post, just click here. The original piece was featured in the SPECTRUM annual to my pleasant surprise, and turned a lot of attention my way.

I'll be submitting this to TEEFURY asap and it will hopefully see print soon. And, as always, the BPAW watermark will not be featured on the final product.
